Silent Pictures Custom Framing will present a showing of paintings by Carol Rutten titled "The Eclectic images of Carol Rutten". Showing from July 16 through August 27, 2010, at their 3001 State Street Gallery. You are invited to meet the artist at a wine and cheese reception held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday July 21 and Friday July 23. Carol Rutten, a native of Washington State, has lived in Santa Barbara for 25 years. She started painting seriously after retiring from a successful management career. Her wide-ranging images include landscapes and still lifes, watercolors, oils and acrylics. In this show we see an intriguing cross section of her work.
